About
Meet Angela
Hi, I’m Angela Buenaventura — celebrant, teacher, writer, mum… and an all-round lover of stories and connection.

Before becoming a celebrant, I spent years as a Diverse Learning and English teacher, helping young people find their voice. That love for language, empathy and storytelling naturally flowed into celebrancy where I now get to help couples share their voices, their history, their quirks & the heart of what makes them “them.”

I hold a background in Literature and years of experience writing, teaching, and crafting meaningful moments — all of which shape the way I build ceremonies: calm, intentional, warm, and deeply human.

I take the time to really get to know my couples so that your ceremony feels lived-in, heartfelt and truly yours.

Whether you’re planning something tiny and tender or short-and-sweet with a twist, I’m here to guide you with warmth, clarity and a little bit of magic.
