About

Meet Angela

Hi, I’m Angela Buenaventura — celebrant, teacher, writer, mum… and an all-round lover of stories and connection.

Before becoming a celebrant, I spent years as a Diverse Learning and English teacher, helping young people find their voice. That love for language, empathy and storytelling naturally flowed into celebrancy where I now get to help couples share their voices, their history, their quirks & the heart of what makes them “them.”

I hold a background in Literature and years of experience writing, teaching, and crafting meaningful moments — all of which shape the way I build ceremonies: calm, intentional, warm, and deeply human.

I take the time to really get to know my couples so that your ceremony feels lived-in, heartfelt and truly yours.

Whether you’re planning something tiny and tender or short-and-sweet with a twist, I’m here to guide you with warmth, clarity and a little bit of magic.

We sincerely acknowledge the Cabrogal of the Darug Nation who are the Traditional Custodians of this Land. We recognise them as the original storytellers and conductors of ceremonies on the Land on which we operate.

We pay respect to the Elders both past and present and emerging of the Darug Nation.

We extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Always was, always will be.
